Marisa has been with the Cleveland Clinic for over a year and brings a unique blend of clinical experience and academic background to her role as a Research Coordinator I. Graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience, her academic journey was enriched by engaging in research projects during her undergraduate degree–notably exploring cochlear implants at Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center - Eye and Ear Institute. Prior to originally joining the Cleveland Clinic as an Anesthesia Technician, she spent a fulfilling year at Nationwide Children's Hospital as a Mental Health Specialist, fostering her dedication to patient well-being. With a deep-rooted passion for mental health advocacy, a commitment to compassionate care, and the importance of a holistic approach to medicine, she is excited about the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking medical research and the future of patient care.
